LOUISIANA PURCHASE EXPOSITION HANKIE
Silk, 10"x10", embroidered in pink, purple and gray thread
The Louisiana Purchase Exposition was held in St. Louis from April 30 to Dec. 1, 1904. The huge exhibition covered 1,240 acres, and included exhibits of science and technology. This handkerchief featuring President Roosevelt's face was a souvenir from the event. It is silk and could have been purchased with or without the embroidery.
