SAGAMORE HILL POSTCARD/AUTOGRAPH

Theodore Roosevelt built his magnificent home, Sagamore Hill, in Oyster Bay, Long Island, between 1884-1885. It was known as the "Summer White House," and matters of national and international importance took place there. In 1919, Theodore Roosevelt passed away in his sleep at Sagamore Hill.

This card with Teddy's picture and the words "Sagamore Hill" on it was autographed on May 23, 1917.
